Czy koło nie ma końca? Rekonstrukcja dziecięcych geografii wybranych praskich podwórek
Abstrakt
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie zrekonstruowanych dziecięcych geografii wybranych podwórek warszawskiej Pragi. Geografie te służyły jako punkt wyjścia dalszych analiz i interpretacji materiału zebranego w czasie ewaluacji projektu „Teatralna Praska Dorożka”, realizowanego w 2016 roku przez Teatr Baj w partnerstwie strategicznym ze Stowarzyszeniem Pedagogów Teatru. Projekt wpisywał się w szersze działania, których celem jest rewitalizacja Pragi – rozumiana jako proces nie tylko urbanistyczny, architektoniczny i ekonomiczny, ale także społeczny. Z tego punktu widzenia odtworzenie dziecięcych geografii podwórek wraz z uchwyceniem ich dynamiki, sposobów użytkowania oraz zachodzących w ich obszarze typów relacji wydawało się szczególnie cenne.
Has the circle got no end? Reconstructing the children’s geographies of selected Praga courtyards
Abstract
The reconstruction referred to in the article’s title focuses on selected courtyards in Praga, a traditionally lower-income neighbourhood across the river Vistula from Warsaw’s city centre; having survived WWII with relatively light damage, the neighbourhood has many old multi-family houses with central courtyards. These ge-ographies are adopted as a point of departure for further analysis and interpretation of the materials assembled during project evaluation of “Teatralna Praska Dorożka” [“Theatre Droshke of Praga”] executed in 2016 by Teatr Baj in strategic partnership with the Pedagogy of Theatre Association. This initiative constituted part of a broader drive aimed at general revitalisation of the Praga city district – not only in urbanistic, architectural, or economic terms, but also in the civic and societal spheres. Regarded from this angle, the reconstruction of children’s geographies of courtyards, taking into account their dynamics, means of use, and the relationships thriving there, appears especially desirable.
