About The Third Sector quarterly
The Third Sector Quarterly is a multidisciplinary scientific journal whose aim is to provide practitioners, researchers, experts and decision-makers with the latest information on the state and prospects of the civil society development in Poland and abroad. The journal also provides a platform for discussions and the exchange of opinions on the above issues. For the interested parties, it may be a source of arguments based on knowledge and research results which can be employed in debates, the preparation of new solutions or the evaluation of the systems, policies and regulations already in place.
In 2004-2017, the quarterly was published by the Institute of Public Affairs. Since 2018, its publishers have been the Academy of Civic Organizations Foundation and the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
The Third Sector Quarterly is an open access, peer-reviewed journal.
The electronic newsletter Trzeci Sektor na Skróty [The Third Sector in Brief] is published parallel to the full version of the quarterly. It includes summaries of the selected texts available in the current edition of the journal.
